The wii fit!

I have noticed that I usually rant about things that bug me, and I know why this is. As any one who knows me I don't get cross alot or lose my temper in person I actually come across very calm so I decided to make this blog so I could vent and not implode from the everyday annoyances that do bug me. But I do want to praise things when I think they are good so..
I just bought the Wii Fit and I read online reviews about it that are a bit average and tend to have alot of moaning on them , so i just wanted to have my say: I think the Wii FIt is excellent, speaking as someone who wants to get abit fitter but gets embarrassed running in my street or doesn't like gym's this is just the biz. I have only had it for 3 days so far but I absolutely love it and want to say well done Nintendo no wonder there selling out every where. If you don't have one and you have a Wii you should go out and buy one now!

I completely agree. I've been using it for a few days and it really can give you an intense workout, as well as help you stay motivated. The people who whinge about it online must not be using it right. Lol.

My Top 5 Wii activties:

Jogging (Works up a sweat)

Step Plus aerobics (Fun way to start a workout)

Jackknife Sit-ups (Really works the abs)

Single Leg Extension (Great for balance and muscle tightening)

Sun Salutation (Yoga Pose that really stretches you)

Obviously you can do all these in a gym so if you're a gym-going kinda person you might not get much from using the Wii fit. But, although I do occasionally go to the gym, like Donna I absolutely cannot be bothered with it most of the time, mainly cuz it's quite a bit of a walk from my house so I'm usually exercised out by time I get there! The wii fit means I get a complete workout in my own living room and I find it motivates me in other things like eating a healthy diet too.

All in all, it gets 5 reps out of 5 from me.

I think that the balance board is an awesome idea and incredible extension of what the wii can do. I havent had a chance to play on one yet but it does look like more than just a gimmick as alot of 3rd party developers have jumped on the band wagon and are producing a number of games to be released this chrimbo time.

Yay to nintendo for making a machine that will stop fat people wadling down the street. Although when this little baby was released I did love the comments from some American reviewers that they couldnt actually use the balance boad because it wouldn't support their weight. And that this was a design flaw on nintendos behalf, no American dude it is because you are a fat bastrard.
