boycott homophobic heinz!
heinz have pulled a recent advert because it was seen as "gay" and offended ppl as it showed two men kissing,(pecking) each other on the lips. Heinz claim that
"It is our policy to listen to consumers.
"We recognise that some consumers raised concerns over the content of the ad and this prompted our decision to withdraw it," said Nigel Dickie, Director of Corporate Affairs for Heinz UK.
"The advertisement, part of a short-run campaign, was intended to be humorous and we apologize to anyone who felt offended," said Dickie.
yes apparently showing same sex affection or same sex couples having a family is highly offensive!
Heinz do not seem to mind the LGBT ppl that are offended that they pulled this ad.
but they do listen apparently so phone their customer line FREE on 0800 528 57 57.
And boycott all heinz products because it seems they don't want their products associated with gay ppl so why should we gave them our money!?

lol yeah that was shameless! that ad was abit shit but they removed for wrong reasons.
I've never actually seen that ad (I have sky+ and one of the beauties of it is I can fast forward through the ads!)but I'm disgusted that Heinz listened to the homophobes and pulled it.
I never usually buy Heinz stuff anyway, but I'm definitely put off after knowing this :(.
yeah some ppl seem to think it was an organized homophobic group that sent the 200 complaints, but the LGBT ppl complained a hell of lot more! yah! don't mess with the gays we're a pissy lot :)
